On Saturday morning, October 21st the New Rochelle Public Library Foundation will host a morning version of its popular Cocktails & Conversation event : Coffee, Confections and Conversation with Emily Franklin, author of a book Town & Country Magazine called the “must-read book of Spring 2023.” Franklin’s work, The Lioness of Boston, is a deeply evocative novel of the life of Isabella Stewart Gardner, the daring visionary who created an inimitable legacy in American art and transformed the city of Boston itself.
Tickets cost $35 and include coffee, pastries, and a glass of prosecco; books will be available for sale and signing from J Anderson’s Books. Proceeds benefit the NRPL Foundation.
